To begin treatment, pour equal parts Aquamira Water Treatment (Part A) and Phosphoric Acid Activator (Part B) into a clean cup. Then, mix with the water you’d like to treat.

Refer to the following ratios as a guide:

  • 5 drops each of Part A and Part B to 32 ounces of water.
  • 1 teaspoon each of Part A and Part B to 5 gallons of water.
  • 2 tablespoons each of Part A and Part B to 30 gallons of water.
  • 4 tablespoons each of Part A and Part B to 60 gallons of water.

Most and I am one have a battery powered water purifier likely and that is all fine and well until you don’t have batteries in the event of a SHTF or even if you are bush-camping minimalist.

I don’t expect they will ever get a Michelin Star rating on the other hand I can be confident I won’t be getting very sick or worst yet. Small bottle will fit in your pocket when you think you might encounter some questionable water. Remember 3 days without water and most of us will die! Would buy again.

These bottles have no Expiration date or DATE at all. So these can be OLD and Discarded for all I know.
This is very BAD and Disappointing… Bad REVIEW

    Good quality.

If you like to think ahead… these are the way to go!

Many years ago, the old bottle was getting crusty. I tried to open it, but it had corroded shut. I think over time, the seal leaks and the moisture in the air gets inside and it makes a mess. I was looking at replacing it and ran across something that the US Military does: They seal the tops with wax. It keeps the moisture out and helps them last a lot longer. So, when I got mine, I took some wax, heated it up, and dipped the top of the bottle in a few times to make a better seal. If you are keeping these for emergencies, and don’t expect to use them often, it might be a good idea to seal the top one way or the other.

    Great product for emergency preparedness.

  9. Ryder (verified owner)

Hope I never have to use these. As the description reads this could be the easiest to use.

Great for backpacking, camping, and emergencies. I don’t use this as a primary water source. I primarily rely on a lifestraw, or sawyer filter. If you have a filter clog on you and cannot backflush, this is a great alternative to have.

Keep them at home and in my truck

Seems like it will work great for my SAR kits for the road, however beware the packaging. The packaging they use is insulated uline bags and if you just tear it open you will get dust and insulation bits absolutely everywhere. Product seems great though.
